Sweet Sunday: Strawberry Frenzy

- Enjoying the beautiful weather - Having lunch on the terasse - Study serenely -

- Playing with yarn & needles - Eating & Knitting Strawberries - And drinking coffee of course!

Patterns: Knit Strawberries by PezDiva, used for the strawberries.
Strawberry Bookmark by Cara Donovan, used for the leaves.

Needles: Addi Turbo, 3.25mm, 80cm, using the Magic Loop Technique.

Crochets: 3.5mm (for crocheting around the leaves) & 4mm for the chain stitches

Yarn: Monoprix, 2000. This is cheap acrylic bought for practice purpose. The colors (absinthe & cassis) were just perfect for these little strawberries.

These strawberries are very fun and fast to knit. I stuffed them with scrap of red yarn It's the perfect week-end knit and a lovely way to use left over yarn! They will make a great quick gift!
Happy Sunday everyone!

New Work in Progress and First Harvest

Hello!
Hope you are well and enjoying this beautiful weather!
Sorry for not posting these past few days. I had a little lack of inspiration after finishing my shawl, plus blogger was down, and is still behaving oddly... (do you have the same issues?) During that time, I finished my June Socks and began another sweater:

It's a simple top-down raglan sweater in cascade 220. I hope to finish it soon.

I also had the joy to harvest the very first garlic of our terrasse:

They are so tiny and cute! They look as garlic cloves, but I swear these are entire bulbs!

Our garlic (on the left) and greengrocer's garlic (on the right)

They are delicious! But all home-grown vegetables are delicious isn't it? And soon, we will eat our first tomatoes!

Wish you a lovely week!
