A New Start

Hello!
Thank you so much for your warm welcome and compliments on my sock pattern. It means a lot to me! :)
Holiday is over for me now, and here I am, back at my own home. I moved in July, but left for the whole summer before I could really live in here. At this time, I hadn't really realised how much work had still to be done. So since monday, I have opened, sorted and stored the content of tons of cardboard boxes, shopped (mainly food and household products, a dishdrainer and plastic boxes, how exciting), connected the internet and the phone, I'm trying to find a place for almost everything, and I'm still learning to live and create a routine in this different and smaller place I already adore. I hope that I'll soon be able to think about decorating my home, but for the moment, it's more like a brocante, or a junk shop if you prefer.... :)
You guess that my precious stash and it's lovely inhabitants were the first to be given a proper place to live. I have a lot of knitting to show you, but hadn't the time nor the energy to block and picture them yet, so for the moment, here is my first project casted on in this new place. An Ishbel Shawl in a bright and happy colour!

Hope you're having a lovely week end!
