Are you getting ready for Christmas as excitingly as I am? Since my last post, a lot has happened and is happening! I'm still knitting with pleasure, slowly but surely. Thank you so much for all your encouraging comments, it's good to feel supported. I wanted to post earlier but I have been more busy than expected.
I also received a fabulous pre-Christmas package from my dear friend Patrizia who lives in Switzerland: An explosion of red and white, with tons of chocolates, hand-made gift tags, gingerbreads, caramel coated almonds and a lot of other Christmas Goodies. I wanted to take more pictures of these but I fear almost everything "disapeared" in our bellies! Luckily this lovely hand-made Christmas card and the most lovely mug a knitter can receive will be preciously stored and used!
On the knitting side, I have a few finished projects but can't show them to you right now as the recipients might discover their Christmas gift a little too early ;) I also have a pair of socks on the needles, but they won't be ready in time. My recipient will only receive a coupon-card instead tonight :(
But for the moment, let me introduce you a sweet little project I finished a few weeks ago:

But for the moment, let me introduce you a sweet little project I finished a few weeks ago:
Pattern: Sweet Little Nothing by MarieAdeline
Yarn: Drops, Fabel (100) about 65 grams (less than one ball and a half)
Needles: Addi Turbo Circular 3mm, 40cm & 80cm
About the Pattern: It's the second time I knit this pattern, and once again, I enjoyed each single stitch. The border is a little bit tricky but really worth the effort, the lacy cables are so delicate that I could stare at them for hours. I have always loved MarieAdeline's designs but this one is probably my favorite. Sweet Little Nothing and Selbu Beret are so far my two most favorite beret patterns. I could knit them again and again, and again. (Reminds me that I have to post about my third Selbu Modern as well)
That's all for today, have a lovely time with your loved ones tonight and tomorrow, eat, drink and enjoy yourselves a lot! Merry Christmas!

What a beautiful knit! It's so light and airy. The cables look amazing at such a fine gauge.
